Concessional Credit for Empowerment of Divyangjan
Purpose
- Income-generating activities and overall empowerment.
- Higher education after Class 12th.
- Vocational and skill development courses.
- Assistive devices, customization and retrofitting.
Eligibility
- Indian citizen with 40% or more disability.
- Age above 18 years (above 14 years in specified cases).
- UDID Number is mandatory.
Maximum loan: ₹50 lakh per beneficiary/unit.

Loan up to ₹50 lakh for studies in India and abroad at 4% interest.
No interest rebate/concession is available for education and home loans.

Note: No rebate/concession in the rate of interest is available for Home Loan.
- Repayment period for general loans: up to 10 years.
- Education loan repayment follows the Implementing Agency's sanctioned period.
- Security will be as per the policies of the respective Implementing Agency.
- Loan not adequately covered by security may be considered under applicable Central Government Guarantee Schemes.
- A family member may be considered as a co-applicant, as per applicable provisions.
- Adequate insurance coverage of assets and beneficiaries shall be ensured.
- Insurance cost of assets may form part of the project cost.
